Visited Hamburg to attend Rotary International Convention. Stayed in a hotel close to the convention centre, and opposite City Park. Plenty of time to explore the city, the Beatles connection, the waterfront, some weird architecture and the amazing Miniatur Wunderland model railway centre. We attended a welcome event at 'Die Bank', and the Rotary GBI dinner at Hofbräu Wirtshaus Speersort. The 'hosting event' was organised by Rotary Club Großhansdorf in Ahrensburg, a train ride away from the city centre.
