The start of our deep south trip. Flew into Atlanta, much improved since 2010, with the new International terminal. (Pity it is the opposite end of the runways from the old terminal and ground transportation.) Overnight at an airport hotel, then picked up a hire car and drove to Chattanooga (Choo-choo Hotel). Stayed over the weekend then on to an AirBnB in Nashville and a few days of real country music. Then on to Memphis, visited Gracelands, dropped off the hire car and spent some time with a mix of music and civil rights history.
